Aruppukottai Nadargal Uravinmurai was started more than a century ago in 1850. In those times there were no proper education facilities available in and around Aruppkottai, with the generous thought of providing knowledge to all poor people in the region, SBK. (Saiva Bhanu Kshathriya) School was opened in 1870 and then bloomed within a short span of time as SBK Higher Secondary School in 1895,.

Now, it has evolved as a first class institution which creates thousands of briliant students every year.

As a proof of exvellence, SBK School has grown today as a SBK group of institutions. Each and every petal of the group is shining like stars in the sky.
