Details of Assessments for Grades form Grades III to VIII

The SBKIS has brought out a comprehensive layout for Assessment in accordance with the principles laid down by NEP 2020. Assessment is the LENS for understanding student learning. National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasizes the need to shift from ‘Content Based’ Assessment to ‘Competency Based’ Assessment. The structure of Assessments has been designed as “Assessment FOR Learning” and “Assessment AS Learning” from “Assessment OF Learning”

SCHOLASTIC AREA: The Assessment Structure and Examinations for Std. III to VIII is explained below:

Science & Social Science Critical Thinking and Evaluation Problem Solving and Inference Collaboration and Creative Thinking Value / Ethical Application of Concepts Portfolio, Project and Viva Periodic Tests will be conducted in syllabus covered till the Announcement of the concerned Periodic Test dates by the school
